Nedbank Forensic Top Management rudeness, lack of communication and no support for bankers.

I'm really disappointed in Nedbank and their service from the TOP management - particularly the forensic and complaints department. This regarding my experience with the bank I have been with for years out of loyalty and convenience, but I was unfortunately a victim of crime and *****. Towards the end of March 2021, going home from work, I was hijacked, kidnapped and held for ransom. I'm one person who's always been safe and don't carry cash around nor withdraw large amounts of money because I make use of the Nedbank Money app. When the highjacking happened, l was forced to give out my card bank pin, of which had a small limit to my relieve but the ****s threatened to kill me as they discovered my activated money application on my cellphone. Transactions I don't usually do were done by these ****s throughout the kidnapping, like large amounts of money through mobi money and send imali, of which I don't usually do. Swiping of large amounts at foreign stores that day. I immediately reported the matter and opened a case at the police station that day after I was released and rescued by my family members, with me calling the Nedbank centre at the same time to block all my channels of banking like the app, internet banking and my ****** card. I followed up with the forensic department and was not being updated for a whole month by the lady who had my case. She was rude upon the conclusion of the case and insisted I knew about the returned money and use of the money by the bank that day, of which was used by the ****s. Went from pillar to post trying to enquire with the forensic department lady who had the case to tell her I knew nothing and was a victim of ***** but she didn't answer for a while. Eventually she concluded and said there's nothing they can do about the matter. I called the complaints department to report my matter and felt hopeful as I got a reference number and the promise of getting some assist by the bank in terms of financial well-being. I got a call from a guy who was willing to help me but he never got back to me. Tried to call him but seems like he isn't interested anymore. No phone call from him either. I never thought I'll be mistreated by a bank that I have been for years and thought some assistance would be offered by them after losing my whole salary, car and belongings during the month of March. Especially one using the money app safely anf out of convenience. This has showed me that it's time I switch banks and go for one that really cares about it's people. The rudeness and no communication from the top management, after a traumatic experience like mine has me defeated about our safety with Nedbank using it to store our hard earned money. My wife was also a victim when all this happened and standard bank greatly communicated and compensated her in the end as they could shes was a victim of ***** and crime to do forced transactions.

Im utterly disappointed by Nedbank and no support system after calling the *****line. All I'm left with is case numbers and reference numbers but no solution or conclusion, or a bit of loyalty assistance.
