NEDBANK FIXED DEPOSITS & NEDBANK ESTATES ... Disgraceful !

I appeal to all seniour citizens not to place money with Nedband for any fixed term irrespective of the rate promised ! Should you or your spouse pass, the surviving partner or your executor will have nothing but misery trying to have funds relesed into an estate account. Seven months later and many emails, even assistance from the branch was met with no luck ! No contact numbers for Nedbank Estates. No followup emails from Nedbank Estates. Nedbank Complaints can only assist to a point.......... Funds can only be paid out on the maturity date despite death, not earlier we are told ??? When funds are paid out at the end of the fixed period they are paid into a suspense account in error NEW PROBLEM ! Again an appeal dont place money with Nedbank if you are of retirement age and will need your spouce to have easy access to funds or your estate needs to be finalised expediantly, It aint going to happen !
