Nedbank failed safety and service for overseas account user.

I left my Nedbank account active after relocating to Greece early last July, as I was assured of the following upon signing oversea indemnity forms: - Would have full access to my account and online banking features via the Nedbank app. - Transactions would be emailed instead of SMS. (None of my transactions for the last 5 weeks have been emailed.)

Yesterday morning, the Nedbank app suddenly stopped recognizing my credentials with the following events unfolding: - Wouldn't allow me to reset password. - Wouldn't allow me to reactivate my account after reinstalling the app as the activation pin was sent to my old and longer in use SA number. - I urgently contacted Nedbank via their Facebank channel. I was supp**** the email of the Bank manager in Sandton City to attend to my matter urgently. - After I posted publicaly my unhappiness and frustration on the NedBank facebook page, the Sandton City bank manager contacted me via email at 19:32PM Greek time (My email was sent at 9:12am Greek time). No prompt solution was offered, nor any guarantee that a overseas number would allow me to access my account.

Quote: "If not kindly forward us your international number so we can update it on the system. There after we will check with our money app department at call centre if the international number can work."

After 13 hours (Presently 1:00am Greek time) I still have no access to my Nedbank account.

More alarming, is that I mentioned to Nedbank I suddenly had no more access to my Nedbank account, and Nedbank failed to action any form of security check to reassure me that my account wasn't externally compromised.

I'm left frustratingly sleeplessly concerned.
