Nedbank failed me again

GOOD DAY ,

NEDBANK goodbye

I am writing to express my frustration with Nedbank Insurance, as I have experienced yet another failure in their service. Nedbank utilizes a third-party company, Telesure, to handle claims.

I registered a claim on Monday, December 2, 2024. The green box that supplies power to my house had its cables cut, which caused explosions in two different sections of the cable leading to my house. Additionally, the electrical connection in front of my house was faulty. The municipality has informed me that they do not handle repairs inside residential yards, which leaves homeowners responsible for fixing these issues themselves. As I have insurance that covers emergencies like this, I proceeded to file a claim with Nedbank. However, I am still waiting for a response. My claim numbers are *** and ***.

According to Leratho Mthembu, it seems that Nedbank is trying to do me a favor, despite the fact that I am covered for building insurance. I have received a quotation in document R14500, and there are additional issues. My paving has been removed due to the replacement of 8 meters of cable, which amounts to a 3.5-meter section of paving removed. They have stated that paving should be included in my coverage.

I look forward to your prompt attention to this matter.

Regards, Samuel D. Hoffman *** According to Leratho Mthembu Nedbank wants to do me a favor but I am covered for building insurance. R14500 quotation they wish to give R6999 also my paving is removed because the cable was replaced 8 meters by 3.5 meter of paving removed And they say paving is included.
