NEDBANK ESTATES DEPARTMENT INEFFECTIVENESS

Nedbank's deceased estate department is totally ineffective.

I am an attorney assisting a client whose mother passed away leaving her some money in a Nedbank account. Despite providing all documents on the 6th April 2021 and then resending them 7 June 2021 we have still not received payment. So 5 months later we are still waiting. the worst part about it is that they simply do not communicate with us and when we send correspondence they say there is an 8 - 10 week backlog due to delays in the Master's office.

The only person at Nedbank who must be praised is a Mr. Marius Fourie who has tried to assist us but to no avail.

How is it that other banks take a fraction of the time to finalise a matter?
