Nedbank erm you call that service
On Friday I chatted to “wanna be” who thought we were friends on the Nedbank money app, I asked to apply for an overdraft which wasn’t even much at all, Menzi has absolutely no customer service let alone etiquette and tried to be smart with me, using Nedbank jargon - I come from the banking industry but each company has their own jargon, I asked Smarty Pants (and erm this is sarcasm) about the overdraft, he said my account was in “movement” and when I asked what it meant because I don’t speak Nedbank processes to which I received a response “let’s not dwell on technicalities” I’m sure this must be the biggest words his used ever, after asking again and again he said my account has to be in a positive - which it was but Bobo didn’t check he was answering out of his pie hole, I explained the swipes that went off my account and my account was not in a negative, said couldn’t help me but I need to contact the sales department and they will assist me, so why could he just assist me, passing the buck to someone else, no accountability, responsibility or ownership which is obviously lacking, I asked for the Managers name and he gave the as Freedom Gcabashe, Freedom comes up as an agent not a Manager, is this how Nedbank works by lying to clients? And still nothing was done, maybe if the ***** read what I was asking for and then Freedom asking me to repeat after I just told him and sent the screenshots of the chat no reply except to ask if everything was sorted, I guess we have different definitions of sorted, where is the ethics and integrity? Very poor service from Nedbank and both “line Manager” and Agent showed poor customer service, why would idiotic Manzi tell me he can’t help me coz of blah blah blah Nedbank jargon but he asked me to contact sales for what? It’s called passing the buck- Customer Service rule - first call resolution but I got no satisfaction from Manzi nor Freeman this is very bad service, I sent the screenshots of the chats to Freeman with no response it’s called laziness, he could have assisted but chose not to this is absolutely a fail at customer experience, customer service is pathetic.
