Nedbank don't worry about settling claims

I have insurance, home insurance and life insurance for more than 20years. I made claims for bursed pipe, gate motor and damaged wall by storm, and the Nedbank insurance declined them. To my surprise, why did they allow me to do bond with them. As i never changed the wall or renovate the house since.
