Nedbank: DONT make things happen
Nedbank call center operator: "The WHOLE Nedbank is offline" Me: "Across the whole country?" Nedbank call center operator: "Yes" Me: "So no one can do any banking over the whole country at the moment?" Nedbank call center operator: "Yes"
This is the answer I get from "Helen" at personal loans when I hold on for quite a few many minutes for her to just confirm my outstanding balance. One of the 'security' questions from her is: "Why am I closing my personal loan?" Really?
Me: "Can I get a reference number?' Nedbank call center operator: "No, we are offline, but I will email it to you."
No email came... ever.
Meanwhile at MFC:
A certain Tennesse deliberately ignores my calls and refuses to answer my emails when I apply for my logbook... after the call center confirmed that she is available. The phone rings for 10+ minutes.
The other person I eventually get to is extremely reluctant to assist. I was only able to (at that time) provide the first 8 or 9 numbers of my late mother's ID number for assistance and her name...
Nedbank call center operator: "That will not help... we have MANY people with the same name AND surname whose ID number has the SAME first NINE numbers."
Wow!!!
I then manage to get and give her the whole ID number. The logbook is then addressed to (wait for it): my late mother... at my work address.
How is my late mother going to collect her estate late logbook? ... At my work? Why is my name (executor of estate) not on there?
And the delivery guy from QDS does not even ask for the 5 digit code (required) before sommer giving it to our receptionist.
She then opens it to see who it is for before she phones the number on there... why not phone the number first?
Why? Why are people so spiteful? Why don't they do their jobs? Why don't they WANT to assist? Why do they give personal confidential documents to just anybody? Why is their service so terrible? Why does Nedbank phone me back and apologizes about 10 times in one phone call but the service remains terrible?
