Nedbank doesn't approve of my skin colour

<p>Over the weekend I visited my local Nedbank branch to open yet another investment. I was shocked to see staff sneakily handing promotional booklets out to black customers only - avoiding and ignoring me (and other white people). I asked my banker about it and she seemed ashamed to inform me that I was 'unfortunately' the wrong 'colour' for that particular product. I don't know how I am supposed to respond. I have been with Nedbank for most of my life. I have 40+ investments. I am extemely shocked. I don't think any peron would be happy to discover they were excluded and duely 'unwanted' simply because they were not the 'right' colour.</p> <p> </p> <p>If it was for the 'disadvantaged' then surely a means test would be more suiable. (At least wealthy black people can apply I guess.)</p> <p> </p> <p>I am expressing my pain here. I cannot simply change banks as I have built a lasting portfolio with Nedbank. This does however seriously alter my perception of a bank that is intent on exlcuding people based on the colour of their skin, even in 2016</p>
