Nedbank does operate on a Saturday, they think they do.

It does not seem as though Nedbank treats Saturday's as a normal banking day. Every time my employer pays my salary on a Saturday via EFT for immediate clearance the funds do not show. We have tested this with colleagues within our organization. When our company pays on a Saturday all the other banks reflect the payment immediately, except for three of us in the same company, whom all happen to bank with Nedbank. Yesterday the 31 January 2025 the company I work for did a EFT payment and the funds reflected immediately. Today Saturday 1 February 2025 the same company pays my salary at 6:12 am for immediate clearance and it does not reflect. This has happened four times in the last year. It was reported to the Nedbank call Centre every time with no resolution. After more than 30 years with Nedbank this makes one question if you still at the right bank. This certainly would be a case for the banking ombudsman to investigate.
