Nedbank does not want to close my settled home loan account

I've been trying to cancel my home loan (which has been settled) with Nedbank since 10 November 2020. I've placed my 90 days notice on 10 July 2020 and waited the 90 days to contact the bank to close the account. I received the settlement amount and paid it in full. And still the homeloan was not closed. I then started phoning the bank to enquire on this matter and each time I was sent to the next person. I then got a notification that their lawyers will be in contact with me to close the account and send my deeds documents. Nobody has up to today phoned me. I tried phoning the lawyers but could not get through. Almost 8 months later and my home loan account is still active and I have to pay a monthly bank fee on this account. I phoned Nedbank again on 21 May 2021 to close this account as my house is sold and I want to get the documents to proceed with the sale. Yet again I was promised that the account would be closed now and my deeds will be emailed to me. And the lawyers will call me within 48 hours to arrange to send me the deeds documents. It is now a week later and yet again I have received no calls from the lawyers and my home loan account is still active and I am still being charged bank fees. How many times do one have to call a bank and shout and someone just to get some service!!!!!
