Nedbank does NOT make things happen - no help!

My father has his primary account with Nedbank. He suffered a stroke at the end of July and in mid-August, I visited the Benmore Gardens branch, with a power of attorney document in hand, to request access to his accounts so I could pay his bills. I waited for almost 30 minutes only to be told at the end that they couldn't accept the POA I had and that they needed him to come into the branch to sign the POA. I was in quite a state that day & do not recall the consultants name, but even after I explained that he's in hospital, he basically shrugged his shoulders and said there's nothing he could do. Fast forward to 3-Oct, to the Morning Glen branch, where I took him in a wheelchair to sign the necessary documents. Issues here again as apparently a drivers license is inadequate proof of ID and the man cannot remember where his ID document is. Nonethless, the consultant (Terrence T****aka) submitted the form and said we'd get feedback by Monday on the status. It's now 6-Nov and still no feedback. Through this all, not once did anyone even bother to offer to have an NFP/ consultant visit him in hospital to help out.. As per my tweet #makethingshappen fail
