NEDBANK. DO YOU REALLY NEED BUSSINESS

Assume I am a visitor to Malmesbury in the Western Cape. First thing I do is go onto internet and find out where I can obtain Forex. As Nedbank is the only one in Malmesbury I find out where they are on the internet. In the meantime I phone the number listed on their website and get through to someone somewhere in South Africa who cannot help except put me through to someone who also could not give me their direct phone number. As I have no choice but to follow the address and land up at Swartland Municipality. I'm told they have moved long ago and of course their webpage has not been updated. I am directed to their new address and I ask the information desk that I would like to exchange Euro's to ZAR. The lady informs me that I have to make an appointment which could take up to 2 days. Now look at my situation. I have accommodation to pay, as well as food and transport. Is this how a bank is run? This is 2023 not 1800's where we trade with cattle. Fortunately I am not a foreighner but I did have to leave my home travel down to the bank especially to make an appointment because I could not get through to them telephonically and had to go 2 days later to have my forex attended to. Sorry but Nedbank in Malmesbury is a no go area.
