Nedbank distributing my information without my consent.

I received an SMS from Nedbank stating the following: IDX Ref No ***0. Nedbank provided your bank statements to RCS, RCS Credit Cards Website as per your consent. Please contact *** for any queries.

I never asked Nedbank to send my statements to RCS. I Contacted Nedbank straight away regarding this but they basically just shrugged their shoulders and told me there is nothing they could do. I contacted again and asked for assistance as I am terrified and believe that my personal information and money isn't safe with Nedbank. I even spoke to their forensic department but also without any help or effort to try and resolve the issue.

I received a phone call from RCS anti ***** department to confirm an application with them which I denied as I definitely didn't apply for any form of credit or loan. How can Nedbank just send out my personal information without my consent? My ID document wasn't ****** as I have it in my possession. How did anybody get a copy of my documents. I am almost sure that it is an internal ********** practice going on in Nedbank.

RCS sent me a copy of the ID that they received for the application. It has all my information on it except the photo isn't my photo. It is a photo of someone else.

I want to know how Nedbank will help me in protecting my information and my account with them. I am thinking of closing all my accounts with them and moving my money to another bank.

I would appreciate some professional help with this matter as it is very serious. I am not going to be held liable for any debit orders or debt incurred from this as I never gave any consent for any of my information to be distributed. It really makes me doubtful of the security that Nedbank has in place.
