NEDBANK DISGUSTING ARROGANT TELLER
Nedbank
l went into your Nedbank Nelspruit Crossing branch to make a cash deposit 11/07/2020, before l left home l counted the cash that l had to deposit to make sure it was correct as it was for an instalment. When l got to the branch at Nedbank Nelspruit Crossing Centre l counted the cash again to make sure that it was correct.
l went into the Nedbank Nelspruit Crossing Centre branch and was attended by Nedbank's Teller NTANDO DUMAKUDE l handed him the cash for my deposit he took the cash instead of counting it before me he put the money in a counting machine that was underneath his table and was not visible to me which to me was ********* how can a counting machine me underneath the table with no visibility to me as a client to verify the counting be so, when counted by this counting machine underneath the counter / table NTANDO DUMAKUDE says your money is short R50 l said to him that is not possible because l counted the money even before entering the branch.
That is when all hell broke loose because l asked him how should l trust that as this counter was underneath his table and it was not visible to me to actually see what had happened, perhaps that R50 have been stuck or fall off to the floor, NTANDO DUMAKUDE said this is the banks policy that counter is accurate as Nebank is a financially registered company, l said to him thats crazy (Niyabheda) as this was not about the policy but about ethics he was shouting at me telling me not to waste his time with counting of the cash again, l asked him not to raise his voice at me but he went ahead and said if that lthey are crazy or am saying him and Nedbank are crazy why am l at Nedbank. l was refering to the issue of the counting of the cash underneath a table with no visibility. He went on to shout at me for a good 10 mins telling to give him the damn R50.
While at it he pulled out another counting machine and placed it on the counter and got the machine to count again while throwing tantrums at me for bullying him and wasting his time. The machine counted and R50 was short l then said to him you should have done that first round by placing this machine on the counter to be visible to me and counting in my visibility how do l trust you and you are being arrogant.
I informed him that l would report his behavior and the way he treated me having a shouting match between me and him for a good 20 mins. Your Nedbank Teller NTANDO DUMAKUDE went on to say l can go and do what ever l want nothing will happen to him, and l must go and never come back to Nedbank because l am a bullying.
Surely such arrogance displayed by a Nebank employee towards a customer is uncalled for to the extent of the enployee having the decency to say to a customer never come back. I was so disgusted on this arrogance in such a time when we are going through the most the bank needs customers to thrive and here is an Employee with an Arrogant attitude to the extent of telling me nothing will happen to him for his arrogance.
What policy of Nedbank is it that money counters are placed benith desks to count money without visibility?
The Employee should have called someone teamleader / Supervisor to check that indeed there was no foul play as l was disputing the counting and not even go into a shouting match with me.
When deposits are done in the branch money counters should be placed on visible access to customers for verification.
NTANDO DUMAKUDE NEDBANK NELSPRUIT CROSSING is very arrogant and this has reflected badly on me as a customer.
THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE RENDERED TO ME BY AN ARROGANT NTANDO DUMAKUDE WHO IS CONFIDENT NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO HIM.
