Nedbank deducts money from your account without permission
I have been under debt counselling since June 2017. I am very diligent in checking that my accounts get paid by my debt counselors every month. Which they do. 1 and a half years later Nedbank decides to terminate my debt counselling agreement with my debt counselor who has not been informed. They then had my personal loan account over to personal loans for collection. On the 25th of November I get an SMS of a debit amount being taken out of my account for my personal loan. No call was made to me by Collections to confirm they will be deducting money from my account. They have now taken money without my authorization leave me, (someone who is trying to pay all her accounts and still pay for a place to live) without enough money to pay my rent for this month. When I call the debt review department they just tell me my account is no longer under debt review. On whose authorization? and where is the notification? then I go through to collections and they could not care about the fact that they have taken money that I do not have nor do they care that they did not have the decency to call me first and make an arrangement with me. No they just take my money. They refuse to reverse it and told me that it is pointless calling in because they will just continue to send me from pillar to post.
Is this how you treat your customers Nedbank? Are you so self involved that you now have the right to do things without customer consent? I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I have always bragged about you being the best. But this is disgusting and no one wants to help me. Plus your staff raise their voices at me when I am a stressed customer trying to figure out how to keep a roof over her families heads. Because you just took away a portion of my rent money. If you look at my history not once have I missed a payment. I have always paid. Unfortunately the last 2 years of my life has been unkind and I went through the debt counselling process because I wanted to ensure that you still get a payment even if it is less than the required instalment. I didn't want to be one of these customers that did not pay a cent towards their debt. But you are so greedy and you don't care to help your customers. And now you go as far as just taking money from your customers accounts without calling them to let them know whats going on and without making an arrangement.
You are losing a customer that has been loyal to for over 10 years. I hope you feel proud. And yes I may be 1 little customer but if this is how you keep treating your customers then 1 day me a little number 1 will become hundreds.. thousands and so on. So much for Making Things Happen for your customers. I am so disgusted in your attitude and to think I was also once a proud employer of Nedbank. Pathetic!!!!
