Nedbank - deceased department. (Pathetic after service)
The executer of my deceased mothers estate first made contact with Nedbank on 13 April 2022 to request a statement of her account and to release the money and deposit it into her estate account. After many follow ups they received documents to be completed on 14 September 2022. This is a delay of 5 months which is pathetic to say the least. Please don't come with the excuse we have a backlog, a backlog is due to poor management. A corporate bank like Nedbank should not use such a pathetic excuses. I myself enquired with Nedbank's deceased department in my personal capacity when I received the same stupid excuse. I escalated it to the complaints and client feedback department which escalated it internally at Nedbank, promising that it will be resolved soon. To date there was no reply from Nedbank. They are just ******** of the fact that they don't know what they are doing or the money has been paid in a fixed deposit account and cant be released for payment. Whatever the excuse, I don't want to hear it, I need this to be resolved within 48 hours after posting this review or alternatively I will contact Carte Blanche for assistance. I bet there are many other people complaining about Nedbank's deceased departments after service. Please appoint more people if you have to but stop making stupid and pathetic excuses when you don't have the expertise to do the work. All other banks my Mother invested with paid out the money within 3 moths after the executer requested payment, this is comparing apples with apples. It seems there is a rotten apple (department) in the Nedbank. Nedbank need to resolve the issues within their deceased department because it reflects on them as a whole. I believe Nedbank is not pathetic as a bank but their deceased department is causing them great harm. Hoping to hear from Nedbank positively in this regard with an ETA in the immediate future.
