Nedbank

Nedbank, under what circumstances does a client's personal account get handed over and what is the process of doing this? Shouldn't there be any form of communication that happens to advise that a personal cheque account is now being handed over? Turns out from this morning I can no longer access my account and the funds in it cause you guys to have handed over an account I have been daily using without fail. What then happens to the available balance in this account which I now cannot access, does that become Nedbank's money also? In 3yrs of banking solid with you guys is this what happens? With no notification whatsoever or some form of communication?
