Nedbank Customer .... unsatisfactory service ... actually NO service!

Three weeks ago … After attempted "out of SA" transactions on my AMEX card (of which I've been informed via sms by Nedbank), I immediately phoned the call centre and had to cancel the specific card and immediately re-ordered a new AMEX card. 8 days later, when I followed up on this card, it seems as that it was not ordered. So I had to re-re-order the card. On receipt of a sms to collect the card, when I got to the bank, it was a Master Card and not AMEX. So the consultant had to cancel this newly (wrongly) issued MC and re-re-re-order the AMEX card - 3rd time. To date.... 3 weeks later since original call, not AMEX card.

Meantime, when I visited the bank to collect the (wrong AMEX) Card my MC was cancelled by the bank - without my instruction or consent. This came to my attention when I attempted on the same day to pay for purchases, etc …. on MONTH END. That left me with NO NEDBANK card … but my salary was in my account. So, at this stage - NO AMEX OR MASTER CARD …

Visits to another Nedbank branch (on the Sunday) delivered nothing, as the ""platform was offline - and as been told by another consultant on another day (the Monday)" - this platform is always offline on month-end.

I've furthermore overhead a conversation in the bank (during one of my many visits to 3 different branches) regarding the Greenbacks SHOP card. I was registered on the Greenbacks Rewards, but never had a card. Thus, during my visit and whilst overhearing a conversation, I've app**** for the SHOP card. I've collected the card after three days, but after many enquiries and various calls to the Call Centre - it was brought to my attention that my profile had to be "migrated" to the new rewards system … This was never communicated to me … and now it is a week since one of my calls to the call centre - and my rewards money still does not reflect in my SHOP card on internet banking.

So Nedbank - you've tried to contact me - but your main call centre number was blocked on my phone due to unasked for marketing calls "Nedbank would like to offer you a credit card".... and on receipt of an email that your call goes to "voice mail", I've provided you with my office number (which, by the way, should be on your system) … I've also called you on Friday afternoon once more (but you went off duty at 16h30), as well as this morning, to get hold of the "specialist" who attends to my NUMEROUS emails to your call centre … The specialist told the call centre consultant I must respond on his email … which I did three times.... and now, almost 6 hours later … Nedbank is still silent.....
