Nedbank Credit Card ***** Division USELESS!
I have a Nedbank Platinum credit card that comes with an additional Amex (American Express) card. My Amex card expired in March 2019 and because I wasn't using it I didn't renew it or create a new card. In October 2019 I noticed a series of transactions (14 to be exact) on my card statement that I did not make. All had a "Paypal*Oskar1105 EUR" description and ranged from R215 to R317 each to a total of R3990 charged to my card. My card expired in March, these transactions happened in October! How is this happening? So I call Nedbank ***** division, log a case and I get my case number, this was some time late October. Its now end of December, after numerous calls and hours waiting on long voice automated telephone calls I have never any feedback of any kind from Nedbank. I have never received the confirmation email with a form with my case number, I have never received a follow call from Nedbank. I can never get through to the call center to even follow up on my case, I've spent what I estimate to be R300 in airtime so far just waiting to get through. All the while, Nedbank continues to charge interest on a balance that is from ********** transactions. My experience has been son frustrating I even stopped a home loan application I started with Nedbank because I want nothing to do with them ever. I'm stuck with no idea how to resolve this. My advise, if you have a nedbank credit card (especially Amex), don't wait till you have a problem and go through a similar experience. Look to other banks or credit card providers, unless you have millions invested with the bank, you are not a priority to them
