Nedbank Credit Card closure

I’ve been trying to close my credit card account since Monday the 22nd of November to no avail. It’s paid up and it keeps incurring more costs since it’s still not closed. And I can’t even get through to the relevant department that’s handling my request cause apparently they don’t have a direct line. I constantly have to “Chat” via their online chat service and speak to someone whose usefulness only goes as far as saying “Your request is sitting with the relevant department, they’ll contact you back”

I’ve submitted 5 requests by now, a lady contacted me on Wednesday and I asked her to call me back in 30min I was in a meeting and she never did, it’s Friday today.

Opening this account wasn’t as difficult as closing it is proving to be.
