Nedbank credit card

how is it that Nedbank says you can get approval within minutes on their website for their credit card applications. I app**** on the 9th July and it's now over 48 hours and no confirmation whatsoever! when you call their contact center the consultant will advise that it have been approved just wait for the sms. but one one has a clue how long is the process.
