NEDBANK: ********* CONDUCT?

ATTENTION: NEDBANK CEO - Mr Jason Quinn I would like to convey my displeasure regarding the manner in which Nedbank staff had dealt with the ***** complaint I lodged with them in April 2024. I was promised the investigation would take between 6 to 8 weeks to complete. After lodging a complaint on 19 June 2024, I was contacted by one of their investigators only to discover that no investigation had been conducted. She called me and admitted that she was instructed to initiate an investigation (Three months later!!) The person also informed me that because their delay the ****** funds had been lost as the *****sters had withdrawn the funds. I supp**** the banking details to unit ***** Unit on the day I reported the *****. Despite the admission that it was their fault that they we able to retrieve the ****** funds, somebody in the ***** Investigation Unit decided that, contrary to the evidence, that the client was responsible for this bungle?? I was told in no uncertain terms that I would be held responsible for the ****** funds !! If this is not *********, I don't know what is. It seems the Nedbanks position, regardless of the evidence, blame the clients. I have for the last month sent several emails to ask the bank to review their findings, but received no reply from the bank. I've been a Nedbank client for more than 20 yrs and have never experienced something as shocking and disappointing as this... This must clearly a violation of the Banking Code, least of all that the bank has a duty of care to their customers. The action of the ***** Investigation seems to point in the opposite direction. Am I being scapegoated for their mistakes??? This is a travesty of justice...
