Nedbank charging exorbitant fees.

Good day, I just spoke to the nedbank credit card legal department and apparently it is legal and normal even though your account has been handed over and a payment arrangement made with the lawyers, the bank still charges a huge finance charge. Shouldn't the account be closed, and the person be allowed to pay of the debt instead of being charged every month a finance charge and thereby incurring more and more debt which the individual will never get out of.

I was told by the consultant that is what I had signed up for! Really how will I ever pay of the debt?
