Nedbank cards outdated

I moved my savings account from FNB to Nedbank, that was a big mistake! Nedbank debit cards are the oldest I have seen in the world of new age technology. There is a constant error in making online payments on some sites, not because I don't have funds but because the cards Nedbank debit cards have restrictions and instead of rendering these obsolete I am told I will have to upgrade my account in order to get a new card that looks like a credit card, something that I got from FNB for a similar savings account. No wonder Capitec has kicked you off the 4th spot! Move with the times.

Still waiting for someone to contact me. Nedbank just uses copy and paste responses in order to reflect that the complaint is resolved even when it's not!

Hi Merilynn Yes someone from Cape Gate has contacted me and given me an explanation. Whilst I understand the explanation, it doesn't mean I am satisfied by it. She even came back to say she doesn't understand why some payment gateways allow the card payments to go through and some don't. The bottom line is your cards are outdated for savings accounts at Nedbank, there is no reason why you shouldn't do away with cards that are not embossed even if it's for savings accounts.

And no, I won't be converting my complaint status just to improve your rating!
