Nedbank Business Assist Finance

I have been with Nedbank small business for about five years now and my business account has never been in a negative balance, and we have a consistent cash flow, as my bank account and financials show. Two years ago when I approached the bank for Asset finance, they told me my business is running at a loss even though my business had two monthly losses and a positive annual profit. This application was done by Nedbank Menlyn Small business. I had a feeling they are not taking me seriously because when I asked them how much the business can afford, they couldn't tell me.

This year I approached the bank with the same request but now asking for a small amount they still gave me the same response. ANd this time I have volunteered to be a guarantor to the business since I have a full-time job.

I think Nedbank small business Menlyn does not take black small businesses seriously. To be honest I don't think they will treat other businesses like this.

They have changed my business acc banker without notifying me. I only found out when I reach out to my old banker. I had to contact them several times to find out who my banker is.

I will really appreciate it if this matter is escalated and find out why they are treating small businesses like this.

Nedbank small business treats its clients like sh*t. I don't think anyone should even consider Nedbank for their business banking. I am very tired of this bank but it is difficult to change because most of my customers use my Nedbank business acc. I am slowly changing to FNB, so far FNB has proven to have better tech and service.
