Nedbank building loans incompency cocst me R28k of additional costs

In April 2014, I signed a building package with Aprix constructions who proved to be useless & have no business building people's homes. The project was financed by Nedbank building loans. The actual building of my house only started in August 2015. The workmaship was so bad, I had to involve the NHBRC. The inspector who was responsible for oir area advised that I should justget anotjer builder to do the repairs and charge Aprix.as.she was having problems with the same builder in most of his projects. I mean there were repairs to the repairs. As my.contract stated that he would take 6months to.finish my house in 6 months and we were on the 7th month, I decided to terminate his services. I contact Nedbank to enquire about how I can make deductioms from the builders last payment. The deductions included the last 6 months water bill which we had agreed I would pay and he would re- imburse me on completion of the project plus repairs & overpayment on the 1st payment made to him. Nedbank advised that I should include this on the progress payment form which I did. On 22March 2016, Nedbank paid the builder but not according to what I had requested. They did not honour the payment form. I immediately contacted the consultant as soon as I received the sms notification of the payment. (Strangely I did not receive the call from Nedbank where they confirm the details of the payment before they actually make it to the builder). The consultant admitted to having made a mistake & promised that they would contact the builder to get the money back as they could not reverse the payment. I also asked to speak to his supervisor who assured me that he knew the builder & would get him to pay back the money. A few days later when I contacted them the story changed. They claimed that they had paid the builder according to the % completed and if I had problems I should contact their customer service which I did. Customer service requested that I submit documents that prove my claim. I submitted an undertaking between myself & the builder about the water bill as well as the cancellation of the contract in which I had put the details about the deductions for the repairs etc. I submitted all these documents. Customer service came back with the same conclusion that Nedbank had paid the builder according to % complete. On top of having to pay extra building costs to the new builder due to cost escalation from 2014 to 2016, I also have to pay for the repairs and have lost the money I paid for the water due to incompetency and ignorance of Nedbank consultants which is not fair.
