Nedbank bad service result in trading loss and don't want to take responsibility

Nedbank online trading brokers sold my shares without my concern making me lose on a year long investment. No one took responsibility as they claim that their system was not updated at the time of my trade. They reversed my two transactions amounting to R243 000, consolidated my shares then sold them for an unconsolidated sale amount which paid only R570. All this done without my concern.

If my sale was ******* due to consolidation, it was not my fault but theirs because they admitted that they did not update their system. Again, they could have just reversed my transactions and gave me back my consolidated shares for me to decide what to do rather than selling them for a small amount as if I wanted to get rid of them instead of making profit. The shares were bought for over R12 000 for them to assume I would sell for R570. I believe it was an ******* move on their side and they don't want to admit they wronged me. After many emails exchanged, they still hide behind company consolidation and omit to say why they traded on my behalf.

At the time of negotiating with them, I wanted my shares back or the amount I traded those shares with. Reason being that, after the shares were consolidate the new consolidation price also went sky high. I had lost an opportunity they well knew was going to happen.

I had 700 000 shares bought for 2c a share. I sold half for 30c and the other half for 40c. That gave me R243 000 credit. Internally they reversed the transaction consolidated the shares to 1400 shares, then sold them for 40c which was the price before consolidation. They then blocked my account for a week.

While my account was blocked, I managed to check the new consolidated price of those shares in other platforms. The new price where as high as 8400c a share.

All this took place during the month of July 2020. I negotiated with them for 3 months but they failed to take responsibility. This after I have spoken to dozens of consultants who never revealed the broker responsible for my account.
