NEDBANK ATM CASH DEPOSITS

<p>Its been more that 24 hours since I did an ATM cash deposit of R41,800. The money has not been cleared. I did the deposit at 20:00 hours yesterday and the funds reflected as available then only to wake today morning my account in OD. I only discovered this after having taken my car for new tyres, you can only imagine the embarrassment I went through after my card declined, the tyres had already been fixed on my car!!!! Went to the branch only to be told that funds deposited on ATMs after banking hours reflects after 24 - 48 hours. But I found this very disturbing because there is no notice anywhere that warned clients about this even their advert on ATM Cash deposits is MISLEADING "It has never been quicker or easier" NEDBANK ATM DEPOSITS ARE NOT THAT EASY AND QUICK! I learnt a huge lesson and I will never do it again. This is the ONLY bank that holds an ATM cash deposit for 48 hours pending authorisation in South Africa. Never do ATM cash deposits after banking hours especially if you have immediate commitments!!!</p>
