Nedbank are not insurers

Nedbank Home Insurance has declined my insurance claim, stating that I had not maintained the property. I contacted the same contractor that Nedbank used to assess my issue, as part of my claim, and they stated that my issue was not due to lack of maintenance on the property but that there is a structural problem on the wall. The contractor confirms that my issue is not due to lack of maintenance.

I have been paying my insurance for over 5 years and have no had one claim. This claim process is tedious and in the future, I will use a company that only focuses on insurance.
