Nedbank - An utter disaster

If I can advise anyone anything please avoid Nedbank at all possible costs.

I am a the owner of a Tour Operator business which has been in operation for twelve years. I have banked with Standard Bank, Nedbank and FNB both with Forex and normal Business accounts and I have had a personal account with Nedbank for the past 8 years or more.

To say that banking with Nedbank is unpleasant does not begin to cover the truth. I have actual dread any time I have to deal with anyone at Nedbank and know it is going to add hours onto my day due to their incompetence, bad attitude and unwillingness to assist. I was actually forced into a situation with work earlier this year where I was abroad with clients and without a bank card despite me informing the bank of my trip 8 weeks before and my card which would expire over the time. Some how they were unable to get me a card in time. This is just one of the most basic and superficial woes we have had with them but quite clearly demonstrates their incompetence and lack of care for the customer in the most basic of places. Not a hard thing to get right.

Please please... avoid Nedbank if you have any value for your time and most basic of banking needs, not to mention the big ones. Banking with Nedbank has been one of the most unpleasant business experiences of my career.
