Nedbank Accounts Locked - Unable to access your money for days

With a brand new Nedbank account i decided to switch my Salary to nedbank.

What a horrible mistake i made !

This new account was FICA locked 2 days before i received my salary. IT took them until 3 days after i received my salary and multiple visits to the branch to get an SOS upliftment request done so that i can access my funds-

After all this inconvenience just for my whole profile (online banking , my money app ASWELL as both my cards ) to be temp locked again for suspicious activity for supposedly transacting what they think are "large"amounts.

I dont know why nedbank have the option for you to set any limits if they are of no use at all

This happened on the same day it was eventualy SOS unlocked and i could not even pay for my trolley at the supermarket or even add fuel to get home!!

This ridicilous temp lock will now last for another 24 hours and no one on the phone can assist you or worse you cant even unlock anything yourself although you are the account holder with all the ids, the cards, the pins and what have you's

This is totally unacceptable and ridicoulous for a bank in this day and age to take up so much of your time, while holding you ransom

I will definately close this profile and move to another bank ASAP .
