Nedbank Account Cancellation

I went to Nedbank Norwood Branch to cancel my Account on 13 December 2022. I must say the service i received at the branch was a bitter one with close to an hour of waiting with no one wanting to assist despite no queues. People came in after me and left me there with no one willing to assist. Eventually after demanding that i get help. I was assisted and made to sign a form and was told that my account will be cancelled in 48 hours. Today is the 6th of January and my account is still active and i'm getting SMSes that my account is overdrawn and i need to make an immediate deposit. I am even skeptical to go to the bank as i am worried that i will not get any service once they hear what i want to do. I desperately need help. I cant keep an account i dont need, but then again how do i close it off is if the bank is not willing to assist.
