Nedbank account

Good Morning My name is Lebogang Mahlaba ID*** I have a bank account with Nedbank which was opened in 2023 , id don’t use the account for some time then it accumulated interested , so I paid the interest then went to the bank to request the account to be closed , I was told to call their call centre and still didn’t get any assistance, am worried the account will keep on accumulating interest so kindly assist I want the account to be closed with immediate effect.
