Nedbank Abuse of SMS Charges
Hello, I have not been paid my September salary by my employer. I have been receiving SMS's almost daily from Nedbank informing me of the situation that there is no funds. I am fully aware of this and just ONE SMS is sufficient as I am billed R10.00 per SMS for something I am fully aware of. I have notified the homeloan & card division of the situation and have promised to pay as soon as I am paid. However I have been informed that the SMS cannot be cancelled. How many hundreds of thousands of people is Nedbank robbing everyday? Is this the norm to abuse a person when there is financial problem due to no fauly of mine?

I was contacted by a Nedbank staff member on 13 October 2022 and informed that due to no fault of mine they would refund the charges imposed for non-payment of debit orders. I think there were 6 or 7 but today I was refunded for just one (R40.00)

Hello,
