Nedbank - absolutely *********** and totally unreliable!

On my Credit Credit report at Transunion, Experian, XDS and Compuscan, a Nedbank Home Loan appears in my name, with a balance of R994,006.00 (Account Number ********** 404601).

I do not have a Nedbank Home Loan, nor have I ever had!

I went to see our company's Nedbank business banker, and requested that he sort out the matter as it has a negative impact on my available credit. When I phoned him two months later, he had done zero and could actually not really even remember the matter! At least he was able to read off his screen that Nedbank Menlyn deals with the account.

I then spoke to Jacqueline at the Nedbank Menlyn Branch (Tel. 012 368 900) and explained my problem to her. She was very helpful and immediately investigated and and perused the Nedbank documentation and found that I am not involved in any way with this bond and she apparently advised the Nedbank Legal Department.

It is now almost two months later, and I am in the process of buying a new property, and this Nedbank Home Loan still appears on my name at all the different Credit Bureaus.

Nedbank Legal Department has done abso-****in-lutely nothing to remedy the situation!

It is totally impossible to even find a contact number for Nedbank Legal, as this department is apparently populated by faceless imbeciles with a questionable IQ's, hiding away in some ba*****t.

As a final resort, I decided to place this review on HelloPeter. Perhaps I can now get these idiots at Nedbank to do something to resolve this matter!
