Nedbank

I have my house bond and insurance with Nedbank. Let me please advise everyone NOT to ever use them for Home insurance. My home was involved in smoke & water damage due to my neighbours house burning down. We contact our insurance to process a claim. two days later they sent a assessor to check the ceiling, roof & walls. mind you, the fire fighters broke my ceiling to get rid of all the smoke, also the water damaged my kitchen cupboards. The next day they sent out the assessor for the cupboards as well, so they called to inform us that they will not replace the ceiling, they only prepared to cover the hole the fire fighters broke open and paint the walls. So if this is the case, I will cancel my Nedbank insurance and move my homeloan to a different bank. They are heartless, because its been a week that Im not living in my house due to the smoke and I cnt trust my son to sleep there, however Nedbank told that the house is liveable. So why dont you come and live there for a night and see for yourself. Save yourself the stress & avoid Nedbank insurance.
