Nedbank 32days Investment "Death before you can access your funds"
From the day I opened my Nedbank account I have had a 32 days investment account with Nedbank, I respectfully need to access to my funds from the 32 days account to urgently pay for my daughters doctor check up. I called the call centre this morning and requested for an immediate withdrawal and I was told 32 days department doesn't operate on Sundays and cannot be assisted over the phone, I should also go to my nearest branch to be assisted, something really concerning is that the call center agent advised that I won't have access to my money unless I have a "death certificate", firstly where do I get a death certificate or should I wait for her pass away then I can use the money for her funeral? How do I even go to the branch if I don't have a death certificate? The reason I was saving the money is because I needed to be safe at times like this but now my daughter has to first die before my money can be released, I don't mind paying the interest, I just need access to my money so I can help my child. I feel people should really watch out for this 32days option from Nedbank. People should be told if you need your money as an emergency someone should first die. Really happy with Nedbank, from the App to the great customer service but this needs to looked into. Can I please have someone contact me, I really need access to my money.
