Nebank Personal Loans ARRANGEMENTS - USELESS!!

Been a loyal client of Nedbank for years. Always paid my personal loans for years. But since I got Retrenched, all that does not matter.

Arrangements were made with Personal loans Department. Told them I'm waiting for my UIF money to pay the money into the account but did not know the exact date to expect payment. In the meantime I tried to see where I could get the amount I arranged for - with the hope to be able to pay it on the 1st.

Once the money was paid in (on the 3rd) from the UIF, the arranged amount was deducted. 3 days later Nedbank deducted almost R7000 (which was not the arrangement) and wont reverse the debit order.

Nedbank knows that you cant give an exact date on when UIF will pay money into your account. I had no other means of an income at the moment, why couldnt nedbank be a little understanding of the situation I find myself in?! I did not asked to get retrenched (without a months notice) and not be able to pay my installments.

The money I had to survive on for the next couple of months, you took knowing well its UIF money.

I trusted Nedbank with our arrangement but clearly that counts for nothing.
