MOST USELESS BANK IN THE COUNTRY

Absolute worst bank you could every choose. I opened an account at Nedbank in March 2023, at the branch, with all my FICA documents. The account keeps debiting bank charges but the account has never been activated. I cannot transact at all, no EFTs, no cash withdrawals, no prepaid services, nothing. When I called the call centre, I was told I must go to the branch again. I took time out of my day and went to the branch, they told me everything will be sorted within 24 hours (on a Thursday). By Tuesday, the account was still not activated. I spent another hour on the phone with the call centre and you know what I was told, ‘Go to the branch again and ask them call us’.

When you have a chance, close any Nedbank account you have!
