Money scheming account

I don't earn much, come month-end my salary is almost depleted accept for a few rands. If say i have R130 available balance left and I withdraw R100 or R80 my account declines and charges me, but if I purchase airtym for the same amount, it accepts without a hitch, why is that? It never used to be like that before
