Money not in account.
I am a very long time Standard Bank customer, but I was looking recently for a savings/investment account that gave me good access to my money at a pretty good interest rate. I found such an account at Nedbank. I then opened a JustInvest account. To use the Nedbank app, I needed to open a transactional account as well. I opened a MiGoals account. I tried to transfer money from my Standard Bank account into the JustInvest account twice. Both times the money was reversed into my Standard Bank account. I then transferred money from Standard Bank to the MiGoals account, which reflected. I then for a third time tried to transfer money from Nedbank to Nedbank and again the money was reversed. So at this point I have tried 3 times to put money into my JustInvest account and I still am not able to . I spoke to a Nedbank agent yesterday, who said to me that the transfer from Nedbank to Nedbank had gone through successfully, but I would only reflect today, because I did the transfer on Friday and the weekend “obviously” slowed things down. Well the money isn’t there because it’s back in my MiGoals account. What is the problem Nedbank? Do I need to just stick to my tried and trusted Standard Bank?
