Mixed my card with somebody else account

My wife was told her new debit card was available. She asked Nedbank to change the branch for pick up and was told to do that she would have to pay an additional charge (standard bank which I bank with does not do this). Due to this, she and I both had to take time off from work to go and collect her new card. She collected it this morning, and when she went to the ATM to draw money, found the card was linked to another persons bank account. It was not her account, yet she had access to draw funds from the other person account. She contacted Nedbank who told her that they would call her back, this call was meant to be about 3 hours ago. She has not received the call. Problem now is that the other person has her bank card and access to her account. Nedbank refuses to assist with this matter and now wants her to go back to the branch, the funds in her account is needed for expenses. What happens if the other person withdraws from her account, Nedbank is not taking responsibility for this.

If Nedbank does not contact us within the next hour, My lawyer has advised urgent legal action will be taken.

Please to all Nedbank clients, either change quickly, or make sure when you collect anything from them it is yours. Places security concerns now with how many times has this happened and not been revealed.
