Milked by Nedbank Credit Card

I have a Nedbank Credit card which i settled over 3 months ago and suddenly i suddenly i receive statement show i am owing R470.00 so when i enquire im told is for servicing the account though it was not in use. Then i make a decision to settle and close the card as i was advised by Nedbank Credit card division, went to a Nedbank branch and settled the amount but to my surprise when i call to close the account i am told to call again tomorrow as the money has not cleared but they can see on the system that i made a payment. It is so frustrating how service providers treat us while we paying. It would make sense if the could say we will make note then we will close the account and send confirmation. Cannot wait to part ways with them.
