MFC saga
3 weeks ago in the 7th my car was repossessed, I called on that very same day and asked an agent called Sharni how much I needed to pay in order to get my car back he said R7851 , I payed R7900 that very same week and waited for feedback. 2 weeks later after sending emails and calls they finally decided to call and told me to pay an additional R2600 which is a repossession charge, I kindly ask the agent why I wasn't made aware of this when I called and asked how much I needed to pay in the 1st placed he rudely rep**** "I'm telling you now". On that very same day I received another call which again informed me of other costs and which I was never told about, changing the fee from R2600 to R4000. I have been getting calls from MFC from the past week and still my matter has not been resolved, I have even went as far as asking that call recordings be checked in order to confirm that I did ask about how much I needed to pay but the information I was given was misleading. There are four cars at home that are financed by MFC and my siblings are starting to worry about whether it's a good or bad idea to pull out of their contracts because of this treatment. We all work around a budget, the day I asked about the money I needed to pay should have been the day i was told about repossession fees, valuation fees and dealer stock fees not 2 weeks later after they had told me to send proof of the R7900 payment and an address I wanted my car to be delivered to.
