MFC is incapable of understanding clients

I have recently resigned from my job due to personal reasons (30 June 2017). I contacted MFC in order to make some payment arrangement due to my situation (I did offer to make a payment which is less than my usual debit order amount). I have received an email the same day stating that my payment arrangement has been declined (due to resignation). Every single person has personal problems and sometimes payments cannot be made (which MFC does not want to understand), however they clearly state that if clients foresee a problem in making a payment for the month, MFC should be contacted. I am actively looking for a job and I did state that any accrued amounts will be paid once I secure employment. MFC does not want to understand this, however if I told them simply that there was an unforeseen expense, matters would have been entirely different. I am disappointed that I am only asking grace for this month and being turned down while I have always made my payments during the past 3 years.
