Mfc a division of Nedbank (***********, unprofessional behaviour from a debt collector)

Hi guys I am here to share my recent experience with MFC where a debt collector assigned to my account went to my house and in my absence divulged confidential information about the vehicle account including the amount in arrears to my family, instructed them if they don’t tell me to pay the account by such a date he will come repossess the vehicle at my workplace (threats). No letter of demand was sent to me. No court order was provided as well, he even had the nerve to make arrangements with a third party for payment on the account. I sent an email to complain and highlighted the fact that he violated the rules of the Debt collectors code of conduct and my right to privacy and in less than 6 hours MFC sent me an email to say that after investigating the matter, their findings showed that no violation was found. These findings were made without any communication with me as the complainant. I have proof that the agent communicated with a third party, intimidated and made threats on that day but all that information was never requested before MFC closed the investigation.
