MFC A company with no heart
I was recently under debt review and defaulted on my payments because I had a baby that was born. MFC called me so quickly with the following options 1. Pay the arrears amount by 12:00 today (Call was made at 09:30) 2. Surrender your vehicle I was absolutely stunned that this is the approach they would even though I've been a loyal customer for years. I wanted to make arrangements but they were not interested. Are they not aware of what is happening in the country? I just had a baby and would not wilfully default. Now they want to proceed with a court order to retrieve the vehicle. I pleaded with the lady and told her if they take my car I am likely to lose my job and this will not be in anyone's interest but she was hard headed about it and gave me the ultimatum. Do you not have a conscience? Is this how you treat you loyal customers? Life happened, but as soon as the debt review was cancelled they were onto me like a pack of wolves. Can you imagine my dilemma? You'll be taking my car; I will lose my job; you'll expect me to pay your legal fees and outstanding balances all while having an infant child to feed. I app**** to the debt review company for a payment holiday but they just ignored me.
