“Make things happen” seems like a very one-sided proposition now Nedbank, don’t you think so?

Amidst these very trying and unsure times in South-Africa, a prominent bank thinks it is just simply acceptable and “ok” to send out this type of message indicated below to their long- established and loyal business banking customers. (and by long standing you are talking 50 years+). Whilst business owners and senior management of companies in South-Africa are addressing the immediate challenges of protecting their staff from infection while providing much needed services to their customers, the below bank thinks they are bystanders as this crisis in South-Africa develops, for them it is just “Business as usual”. Surely, we all need to be active participants and do whatever we can to help consumers and businesses to weather the storm. Like many other South-Africans I feel Nedbank has failed us and I had hoped that whilst this is a challenging situation, they would have taken this opportunity to understand and assist their customers in a better way, and their commitment to supporting their customers during this time would have been far greater!
