Mad Nedbank Client

I had a problem on my Sand filter of my swimming pool,I contacted a Swimming pool company to come and have a look, they could not fix it,so I contacted Nedbank House Insurance, and it was on a weekend and in the middle of summer,so I replaced the sand filter from my own pocket and it cost me almost R7000 with fitment,I showed proof of repairs to Nedbank, and they refused to pay.I went so far to report matter to the Ombutsman, and they was of the opinion I have a 50 persent chance if I take matter to court.I went to see a Laywer, and legal cost was more than damages and I had to rest my case. The previous year I also had a problem on my swimming pool, and there was a leakage on one of the pipes under the ground,it caused the fibre glass pool to create a bubble under the ground,I reported matter to Nedbank House and home Insurance and they refused to pay, matter was first reported to their own complaints department and then to the Ombudsman and after a year, even the Ombudsman was of the opinion that it is a 50/50 decision and Nedbank was of opinion that it was poor workmanship, while my pool was installed for the last 9 years, and never gave such problems.I took out house Insurance with Discovery now,but I am of the opinion that a pool claim is never going to succeed, because up till now,any maintanance on my pool was done by myself and the money came from my own pocket, but in the report of the accessor they stated that my house is well mantained.I believe if I do my part, the Insurance must bring his part of the signed aggreement.
